Around here we don’t just have moms, we have super moms. 364.26 family days a year and only 1 mother’s day, so let’s make it super. For all of the times she made us dinner, while she ate last. For all of the times she does the things that she might hate doing, because it’s got to get done. For all the things she gives up, so that we could have. I don’t salute Lyndzee as just a mom, she’s a super mom. Sure, I get up with the kids in the morning…every morning, (had to put that in there, babe) but that’s the best part of my day.
When we had Charliee 5 years ago, you changed forever. It seemed instant, yet I knew all along that you were prepared. You’d give up anything just to hold our little girl. Then only 5 months after that we found that we had to make plans for a bigger car, and a bigger family. Jett came along a quick 15 months after sissy. I think he was lonely when she left him to come to earth, and now as best friends, they’re happy again in our family. I think they always will be.
Thank you Lyndzee for being my best friend. Thank you for being Charliee and Jett’s super mom. Thank you for being somebody that I can look up to as a parent. I’ve become a better father through your example of parenthood. When we got married seven and a half years ago and I told you that I loved you with all that I had,…I meant it,…I mean it, and I thank you for being deserving of it.
ps. I forgot to buy you flowers, and I think you’re hot.
